Phat Daddy may have an intense look on his face but his expression is raw determination. The Florida native burst on to the Adult film scene in 2006 at the age of 19 and has been hard at it ever since. Not just for himself, Phat Daddy is trying increase exposure and open doors for other black Latinos. The Blatino Oasis Erotica Awards honored Phat Daddy this year for his outstanding work in the adult entertainment industry.







Moving beyond the adult film industry, Phat Daddy recently worked with Patrik-Ian Polk, the award-winning filmmaker behind the hit LOGO television series "Noah's Arc", in a small role for his soon to be be released The Skinny.







The Skinny tells the story of five Brown University classmates who reunite one year after graduation for Gay Pride weekend in New York City. The Skinny is due for release this fall.

Sunday With Hans: Negative Effects

-The Phallus In A Negative Light-


The Reverse of positive is obviously negative and a negative image is one in which light areas look dark and dark appears light. Colors also appear reversed, with red appearing cyan, greens appearing magenta and blues appearing yellow. Most interesting to me is the appearance of the face within a negative image, with darker areas such as nostrils and eyebrows standing out.



Negative images often appear to bring out a quality, an emotion, hidden when viewed positively. It is almost as if the negative aspect brings out a truth, a hidden layer which we cannot hide in the negative light.

The word addiction is often thrown out there when discussing those who acquire tattoo after tattoo. Collecting anything to an extreme can become an addiction but none come with quite the same balance of pleasure and pain mixed with personal artistic expression.

There is without a doubt a rush of adrenaline, especially for first timers, most acute just prior to getting your tattoo. The anticipation of the end result, the process the pain. Thoughts of fleeing arise, many do, and there is a danger and risk that can be very attractive.



Endorphins flood the body in response to the pain of the needles, this effect can be powerful and like the high from orgasms is one many wish to repeat. Add to all of this the attention, both positive as well as disapproval (sought by many) and you can connect with the appeal.



Adrenaline and endorphins can also be a part of viewing an exceptional photograph. Hans Fahrmeyer's shots of men with tattoo's are just that. Generally bodies are his focus, but in this series (Part 1 HERE: Part 2 HERE:) bodies are not the focus, but instead the canvas for the art, the colors the message.
